We offer Boarding on an Invite Only Basis – we have very limited spaces and are not a “boarding barn” we offer Boarding to Clients as well as people who have Purchased Foals from our Program.

Our facilities sit on 152 acres in Alton and include, 2 large paddocks with large shelters with 24 hour access to hay and automatic water (heated in winter), indoor riding arena (built in 2022). Our facility continues to grow in amenities each year.

Vaccine And De-Worming Requirements

Horse boarders are responsible for the following annual immunizations and must be current upon arrival:

  • Influenza
  • Rhino
  • Tetanus
  • WEE/EEE

New horses must present records of the above immunizations, a negative coggins test and a negative test result for strangles from a nasopharyngeal wash tested by bacterial culture before arrival. 

Horses will be dewormed upon arrival to the facility and will keep with the Meadow Brook Stables de-worming program to create consistent parasite control.


Costs

Board Rate:
$500.00/month (taxes included)
Included in Board: Daily Care (Feeding and Mucking), Full Use of Facility, Unlimited Hay, Automatic Waterers (Heated in Winter), Private Tack Locker.

Grain:
$30.00-$250.00/month (taxes included)
Some horses require extra attention, and we make it easy to address these through diet by providing all residents with a Custom Feed Program. We access all horses upon arrival, and then track their weight and condition weekly and make adjustments as needed. We offer a variety of Clarence Farm Services and Purina Feeds (Elevate, Honesty, Juvenile, Maternity, Elite, Trimax, and Senior) specific to your horses individual needs. Billed monthly.

Owners are welcome to provide additional Supplements.

Lessons:
$175-$260/month (taxes included)
This is to ensure the mental and physical well-being of all resident horses is being attended to, as well to ensure they are well behaved and safe for all staff. If owners are unable to attend a weekly lesson then a training session can be done with their horse instead. Billed monthly.

Dewormer:
$15.00-$25.00/month (taxes included)
Meadow Brook Stables will provide the necessary worming of all resident horses as is reasonably necessary.

Weanling-Yearlings – Dewormed once a month.
Yearlings-2 Year Olds – Dewormed every other month (January, March, May, July, September, November).
Adult Horses – Dewormed 3 times a year (January, May, September).

All new residents are dewormed upon arrival at Owner’s expense.

Farrier:
$50.00/month (taxes included)
Can be put in the rotation with other resident horses and kept up-to-date on their trim. Billed monthly.
