We have been using slow-feed hay nets for over a decade and have seen the benefits they provide to our horses. However, stuffing the hay nets is a very labor intensive task and time consuming task. So we have been looking for alternative ways in which to continue to feed our horses with a slow feed net but be less energy and time consuming. That is when we came across the Hay OptiMizer.

About the OptiMizer®

Peace of mind … hay is always available

The OptiMizer holds two small (two string) square bales of hay. The bales can each be up to 42″ long and 16″ tall. It can also hold up to 150 pounds of flakes of hay from 3 string bales, large squares or round bales.

The manger is made of the same polymer used to make playground equipment (LLDPE). All the corners are rounded or bevelled for safety. Drainage holes on the bottom prevent hay wastage due to prolonged soaking.

Slow feed netting is a thick, knotless weave, specified for equine use and proven to be durable yet gentle for feeding horses. Standard netting hole size is 1.6”, as measured at the open edges. The netting is mounted on an assembly made from stainless steel with a unique slide arm that quickly positions the net over the hay.

We are offering the HayOptimizer’s for $1400 (delivered to our farm). This is a great deal as shipping for individual HayOptimizer’s is quite costly, but we bring them in on a full pallet so are able to split the shipping costs between multiple units.

Payment Plan Options

Equal payment plan

With an equal payment plan, you make regular payments. These are also called instalment payments. The terms of your agreement set out the minimum amount you must pay each pay period. You make payments until you pay the full balance. You can select your own Payment Frequency (Weekly, Bi Weekly or Monthly) as well as select your own Payment Length (how many weeks, or months you want to spread the payments over – longer the payment scheudle the lower the payments).

Weekly Payment Options:
$1400.00 / 12 Weeks = $117.00 payment per week

Bi-Weekly Payment Options:
$1400.00 / 6 Bi Weekly Payments = $234.00 payment bi-weekly

Monthly Payment Options:
$1400.00 / 4 Months = $350.00 payment per month

Deferred payment plan

In a deferred payment plan, you must pay the balance you owe by the due date. There are no set payment amounts. You manage your own payment plan.

There are no additional fees, or interest on these payments. You will still be paying the total amount of $1400.00 at the end of your Payment Plan.
